Richard L. Martin
Richard L. Martin has practiced law since 1975. He is a
graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, where he was a
member of the Board of Editors for the Syracuse Law Review. He is
admitted to the State and Federal Courts of Missouri and
Kansas.
Mr. Martin specializes in the management and handling
of transactional and litigation matters for a variety of clients. He
has substantial experience in the areas of foreclosure law,
creditor's rights, banking, savings and loan, real estate,
employment, title insurance, environmental law and railroad law. Mr.
Martin is a member of the Missouri Bankers Association Attorney's
Committee.
Steven M. Leigh
Steven M. Leigh became a member of the Missouri Bar in 1978,
immediately after graduating from the University of Wyoming Law
School, where he was a Senior Editor of its law review, the Land and
Water Law Review.
Steven Leigh was asked by a Judge in the Western District Bankruptcy Court to serve on the Court’s Ad hoc Committee. Leigh serves on the Board of Directors for Missouri Bank and he is on the Board of Directors for the Kansas City Athletic Club Foundation.
Mr. Leigh is principally involved in the
handling of major transactional matters involving commercial real
estate and loans secured by commercial real estate, loan workouts
and restructuring, and major litigation in the areas of banking,
bankruptcy, employment law, title insurance law and business and
commercial law.
Berry F. Laws

Mr. Laws is a 1980 graduate of the University of
Wyoming Law School, with honors, where he was the Wyoming Division
Editor of the Land and Water Law Review. He has practiced law since
his 1980 admission to the Missouri Bar. He is also licensed in the
State and Federal Courts in Kansas.
Mr. Laws is principally
involved in the handling of commercial litigation, foreclosure law
and banking law, bankruptcy, creditor's rights, real estate law,
real estate workouts and restructures, probate, title insurance law,
fiduciary and general business and commercial law.
Mr. Laws
was selected as a 2006 Super Lawyer for the States of Kansas and
Missouri. He is a founding and managing co-member of the Default
Attorney Group, a nationally based affiliation with 8 firms
encompassing 25 States throughout the USA.
Thomas J. Fritzlen, Jr.
Thomas
J. Fritzlen, Jr. is a 1987 graduate of the University of
Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where he was a member of the Board
of Advocates, Order of Barristers and served as President of the
Student Bar Association. He has practiced law since his admission to
the Bar in 1987, and is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri,
the United States Claims Court, the United States District Courts
for the Western District of Missouri and for the District of Kansas,
and the Eighth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal.
Mr.
Fritzlen is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys,
and has substantial experience in general civil and complex
litigation, involving personal injury, fidelity and surety law,
construction, real estate, and commercial transactions and has
substantial experience in business and commercial transactions.
Robert D. Kroeker
Robert D.
Kroeker has practiced law since his admission to the Kansas Bar in
1976. He is a 1976 graduate of the University of Kansas School of
Law where he served on the Board of Governors and was an Associate
Editor of the University of Kansas Law Review.
Also a member
of the Missouri Bar, Mr. Kroeker practiced in both Federal and State
courts and has concentrated his practice in the areas of mortgage
law and complex business, commercial, real estate and banking
litigation. His practice includes contract drafting, negotiations
and he also offers mediation and conflict management services.
Shawn T. Briner
Shawn T. Briner is a 1998 graduate of the
University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where he was a Cedric
Seigfrieg Scholar. He is a member of the Missouri, Kansas, and
Illinois Bars. He is also admitted to practice before the United
States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri, the
Western District of Missouri, the District of Kansas, and the
Southern District of Illinois.
Mr. Briner focuses his
practice on litigating disputes relating to real estate, banking,
construction, bankruptcy, and complex business and commercial
issues. He specializes in title insurance matters and has extensive
experience handling both claim and coverage
issues.

Weber
Beverly M. Weber is a 2001 graduate of the
University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. She is a member
of the Missouri Bar and the Kansas Bar, and is also admitted to
practice in the United States District Courts for the District of
Kansas and the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. She is a
member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and a board
member of the Kansas City Association for Women Lawyers. Ms. Weber's

Mandi R. Hunter is a 2001 graduate of the
University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. She is a member of
the Missouri and Kansas Bars. She is also admitted to practice
before the United States District Court for the Western District of
Missouri and the District of Kansas. Ms. Hunter is a member of the
Johnson County Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar
Association and is a member of the 2005-2006 Kansas City
Metropolitan Bar Association’s Leadership Academy.

Hunter focuses her practice on representing creditors at all stages
of the collection process. She also concentrates her practice in the
areas of civil litigation and creditor’s rights.
Robert M. Swiss
Robert
M. Swiss is a 2003 gradute of the University of Missouri-Kansas City
School of Law where he served as a Board Member and Literary Editor
of the UMKC Law Review. While attending law school, Robert interned
as a law clerk for the Honorable Scott O. Wright at the U.S.
District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
After
graduation, he served as the law clerk for the Honorable Justine E.
Del Muro at the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. Robert
is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Kansas. His
practice is concentrated in the areas of civil litigation and
creditor's rights.
Desarae G.
Harrah
Desarae G. Harrah is a 2005 graduate of the
University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law where she was a
member of the Ellison National Moot Court and Jessup International
Moot Court Teams. She is a member of the American Bar Association
and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
Upon graduation, Ms. Harrah served as the law clerk for the
Honorable Vernon E. Scoville III at the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit

Kevin Mason
Kevin Mason earned his law
degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law,
graduating with honors in 1999. While in law school, he served on
the Board of the UMKC Law Review and was elected to the Order of the
Bench and Robe. Upon his graduation, Kevin served two years as law
clerk to the Honorable Scott O. Wright on the United States District
Court for the Western District of Missouri.
In his practice, Kevin handles all manner of civil litigation
matters in state and federal courts with a particular emphasis on
complex commercial and business litigation. He is admitted to the
bars of Missouri and Kansas and is a member of the Kansas City
Metropolitan Bar Association.
Amy Tucker Ryan
Amy T. Ryan received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law, St. Louis, in 1997 and is a 1994 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. She is a member of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, The American Bankruptcy Institute, The Missouri and Illinois Bar Associations, and is Membership Chair of The Bankruptcy Association for Southern Illinois (BASIL). Amy is also the Secretary of the Bankruptcy Practice Memorial Fund for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Ms. Ryan focuses her practice in creditor’s rights with a concentration in bankruptcy practice.

Brooke R. Rank is a 1999 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Carrie D. Mermis
Carrie D. Mermis is a 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and she received her J.D. from the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Law in 2003. She is a member of the Missouri Bar and Georgia Bar, and is also admitted to practice in the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia. Ms. Mermis focuses her practice on civil litigation and creditor’s rights, with an emphasis in bankruptcy practice.

Mary G. Walsh is a 2006 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law where she was an editor and member of the Dayton Law Review. She graduated with a B.A. in 2003 from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Ms. Walsh is admitted to practice in Missouri and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Lawyers’ Association of St. Louis and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
