Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen, P.C. is pleased to announce that Shawn T. Briner has been named a partner in the firm. Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen, P.C. will celebrate its Nineteenth Anniversary in 2008. Briner, 34, is a Kansas City native and was an associate with the firm in its Kansas City office from 1999-2000. After relocating to St. Louis, Briner rejoined the firm in 2005 and oversaw its expansion to St. Louis. Briner currently manages the firm’s St. Louis office, which recently outgrew its original space and has relocated to Laclede Center II in Clayton, Missouri.
Over the course of a 10-year career, Briner has specialized in real estate and banking-related matters. In addition to serving as litigation counsel for various banks, mortgage companies, and title insurance underwriters, he has founded a title insurance agency, served as assistant general counsel for a developer and home builder, and worked in default servicing. He is licensed in the states of Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.
Briner is a graduate of the University of Missouri (B.A. 1995, J.D. 1998). He and his wife, Jenny, have three children: Tommy (6), Marty (4), and Jackie (10 months).
