Berry F. Laws III speaks on mortgage fraud in Mexico City
Berry F. Laws III participated as a panelist at the Opal Financial Group's Inaugural Latin American Securitization Forum
at the Intercontinental Presidente Hotel in Mexico City, Mexico on February 6-8 2007. His topic was mortgage fraud.
Other panel members included Julie Taylor Moran, a partner in the firm of Barron & Starfield, P.C. and a co-managing
member (with Mr. Laws) of the Default Attorney Group, who spoke on compliance issues; and Gabriel Gomez, Director of
Mexican GSE, Risk Management for Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal, who spoke on mortgage issues in Mexico.
