FiveStar Default Servicing Conference
Martin, Leigh, Laws& Fritzlen and MoKan Title Services attended the 4th Annual FiveStar Default Servicing Conference & Expo in Dallas Texas, September 9-12, 2007.
Managing Partner Berry F. Laws III was a panelist on two educational sessions, The Art of Perfect Practice and Eye on Fraud. Both sessions were well attended b. In addition Mr. Laws acted as the moderator of the DS News Goes on Record, which was composed of Members of the DS News Editorial Advisory Board. The session dealt with many of the leading issues and hot topics facing the mortgage industry today.
In addition, Martin, Leigh, Laws & Fritzlen became members of the DS News Legal League, which is comprised of approximately 30 Law Firms throughout the United States who have dedicated themselves to the default servicing industry. The firm appeared at the first event hosted by the Legal League and it was well attended by the servicing Industry.
MoKan Title recently co-sponsored a Monday Night Football party at Campisi’s in Dallas during the Five Star Conference. The party was very well attended by conference attendees and a good time was had by all. Sarah Humphreys and Jane Woll were supporting their favorite teams, even though they both came up with losses on Sunday.
